The Moonlight Child

A Moonlight Child does not change much of their appearance when they tap into their vampire side, the two are one in the same. As a tiger cannot hide their stripes, the Moonlit Child cannot hide who they are. Their fangs are four in total, sharp and always to a point. They learn to work their mouth in a way that will not harm them or others when the need it not wanted. One fang in each region of their mouth; top right and left as well as the bottom right and left, third tooth from the centers. Their mouth, their bit resembles that of a predator. Their eyes do not change color, but hue. When in the need to summon their abilities, their eyes will glow with the light of the moon. His strength and senses are heightened ten fold of that of a mere human. He can easily hear the heartbeat of plankton, can see grass growing, can do more than what is needed. However with each ability comes pros and cons. Because of his abilities, if not controlled, he can lose his mind from hearing, seeing, smelling and taking in too many things at once; the mind and body can only take so much at one time. Though time to him had seemed to stop his growth and aging process, that is not the has happened. He continues to grow and age, just at a different rate than others can conceive. When a Moonlight Child reaches a certain age, they begin their “life” as who they will always be. Some, like him, are blessed with an adult age. Others, take the age of younger or older beings and are usually put to rest or to death. Because a Moonlight child is ruled by their emotions, it is not always a good thing to be around one if that person is unstable or unable to handle their emotions. They might lash out at the wrong person and for that reason, is why their kind was no more. They were deemed a threat, tracked down and slaughtered by beings there they had never seen before. A Moonlight Child is strong and very intelligent, but they are not the strongest nor the most dangerous of creatures. They are not like the Sanguine Vampire, they do not drink blood each time they are hungry. They take in blood as a nutrient, they only need to drink blood when they begin to feel ill or are in need of healing. Aside from the blood, they eat and drink just a normal carnivorous predator.
